A travel-friendly play stage ready to entertain little passengers...
When I first received some goodies from My Little Shoebox, I was taken by how darling the designs were. I love all the colors and how the stickers made me feel like I was in a children's story book.
I made a stage with two pieces of pretty paper that I taped together and I used blossom twine to keep the stage upright (the back of the stage is strengthened with cardboard).
I used My Little Shoebox stickers to decorate the backdrop and to create characters, props and pretties for my girls to make up stories. I simply attached the stickers to thick watercolor paper, cut around the stickers, and folded the paper to make the characters stand up. Simple, sweet and fun.
Best of all, the stage and characters fold flat and is ready for our long trip to Grandma's house next week.
For the Blog Hop...
Today I am participating in a blog hop to showcase creations made with the sweet designs from My Little Shoebox and pretty twine.
If you are visiting my blog from Cloud 9 Ideas then you are in the right place. If not, please start from the beginning over at The Twinery because there are some great prizes up for grabs...
The prizes are four Spools of baker's twine in your choice of colors AND two fabulous collections from My Little Shoebox.
Leave a comment on each of the blogs on the hop each day to be entered to win the prizes.
Of course I would love you to follow my blog, Curly Birds, as well!
The deadline for leaving comments is 11:59pm EDT, Saturday June 23. Winners will be announced by The Twinery on Sunday, June 24.
I hope you enjoy the blog hop, your next stop is Cokie Pop Paper...
