These mummy Halloween cards were so popular last year, I'm bringing them back for an additional show...
This week we made a gaggle of mummies to send as Halloween cards.
They are super easy to make - quick to make one card, relatively mess free, and the project kept the girls engaged for such a long time that we were able to make a lot of cards.
I cut a box into equal pieces (3.5" x 5") and the girls did everything else by themselves.
First, cut a 12" strip off the end of a bandage (bought at the pharmacy) and set aside. Stick the leftover roll of bandage to the card and wrap the bandage around the card to create a mummy. Glue the end of the wrapped bandage to the card to prevent it from unraveling.
Glue googly eyes onto the mummy.
Take the 12" strip of dressing that you retained and wrap it around the card - tie a knot or bow in the back. Slip your note behind the bow.
Make some more and accessorize if you fancy.
Pretty soon you'll have a whole stack.
