I have been looking forward to Eco-Friendly Crafting with Kids ever since Kate from Mini-Eco announced that she was writing a book. I’m a huge fan of Kate’s gorgeous blog, beautiful pictures, and inventive crafts.
The book is jam-packed with the best kind of crafts – ones that take under 20 minutes to make but are played with for hours.
My girls both agreed that they wanted to make the Paper Cup Poppers IMMEDIATELY.
The picture instructions are so clear that my girls knew exactly how to make the poppers without needing me to read the instructions. I was assisting the girls, not them watching me. Again, the best kind of craft.
We have a long list of crafts we want to make from the book… the homemade paints, chalk, airplanes, kaleidoscope, marble maze (my favorite) and this Oobleck goop Nola really wants to try.
(I have to say, I squealed like a little girl when I saw Curly Birds listed in the directory page. Thank you, Kate!)
