These twee little fairies are multiplying at our house. Each one was given magical powers, special wings and vast amounts of love. And in a few weeks they will be hand delivered as tokens of affection.
Making valentines for classmates is such a sweet idea, and at the girls’ school each student makes a special valentine for every kid in their class. As I see friends are becomming more and more important to the girls, I also see the girls' growing desire (and ability) to show their love through personalized gifts.
These fairies are easily personalized and can, of course, be way more boy-ish.
You will need:
Wooden dolls (available at craft stores and here)
Decorating supplies - paint, material, lace, felt, stickers...
Glue
Brush
Pens
Scissors
Step 1: Start off by drawing faces on the wooden dolls.
Step 2: Paint hair and clothes and let dry.
Step 3: Provide felt, material, lace and stickers for your little Valentine to decorate with.
For the skirt: Cut out round pieces of fabric and cut a hole in the middle.
For the wings: Use felt to make wing shapes and decorate with addional felt or fabirc paint.
I helped the girls use a hot glue gun to attach the wings and skirts.
13 classmates x twins in the same class = lots of fairies
