My friend Jennifer
just bought a vintage Airstream and named her Athena.
Why did she name an airstream Athena? Athena was not only the goddess of wisdom, warfare and Divine intelligence, but she was also the Goddess of CRAFTS!
And guess what? Jennifer is going to remodel Athena, turn her into a travelling craft room and offer artful parties for crafty people.
I am envisioning vintage tea parties for little girls and spot of crafting.
This airstream has been
a dream of Jennifer’s for many years. And my dear friend is fearless, smart, and
crazy enough to follow her vision. I am in awe of her! I have been dreaming
along with Jennifer for several years and am thrilled to be involved in the project.
Picture the cabinets and panels removed to create a beautiful and open space. Picture Athena's walls painted a retro blue (like the oven to the left) or green. Picture a long, narrow table down the middle with lots of colorful and sparkly decorations. Picture vintage plates, delicate glasses, and pretty teapots. Picture yourself, with all of your closest friends, making a little something, eating a little something and laughing a lot.
Paper Moon Crafts will begin with a kickstarter campaign to remodel Athena... then we will start decorating, crafting and partying.
I hope you'll come along for the ride!
